Rove Miles landing page

Rove Miles

MobileWeb

A travel rewards platform that helps users find flights and understand how to redeem points for the best value.

A summer product design internship at Rove, a YC W24 startup based in New York City, where I led design across its web and mobile experiences alongside 10+ developers. Due to changes in project access, this case study focuses on the work and outcomes I am still able to share.

Problem

Travel rewards are valuable, but the experience of finding flights, comparing deals, and understanding redemption options is often fragmented and confusing. Rove needed a clearer way to help users discover opportunities and make confident decisions with their points.

Outcome

I redesigned Rove's landing page. I also designed Rove's first native mobile app and dashboard, along with core experiences across flight discovery, deals, savings, and redemption.

Impact

My redesign of the landing page and signup flow increased conversion by over 150%. The product systems and mobile foundations I created also helped the engineering team ship new experiences more consistently.

Reflection

Rove was my first real experience seeing my work get implemented and understanding the impact it could have. It really kickstarted my love for fast-paced, high-impact environments where I could move quickly, work closely with developers, and see my decisions reach real users!

I also learned how much I enjoy taking complicated information and breaking it down into broad, intuitive strokes. Working on travel rewards pushed me to understand a dense system, figure out what actually mattered, and make it feel much simpler.
